Still, you might have the impression that it isn't. Why is that?
It all comes down to three things:
The timezone from the API is probably different from yours - unless you live in the Vancouver / San Francisco region;
Apple and Google's dashboards are filtered and sorted in a particular way which might not reflect yours;
Multiple fields exist for the same KPI (Installs, for example, can be measured as Acquisitions on Google Play).
If it doesn't look like your data matching, read the documentation of the report you're using. There you'll find detailed information so you can compare apples to apples.
