You can now visualize the reviews of your iOS apps using your Easy App Reports connector. If you're a customer already, you only need to upgrade your API keys if you don't have App Manager access. I'll explain below:

Activating the iOS Reviews report ⭐️

You might have to replace your credentials if you signed up before June 19, 2023. Otherwise, you'll see the following error:

How to upgrade your App Store keys

  1. Ask your Account Holder to log in on App Store Connect

  2. Go to the "Users and Access" menu

  3. Create a new key and grant it permissions as App Manager and Sales and Reports

  4. Go to your Easy App Reports account

  5. Replace your Key ID and Auth Key and save your changes

You're now good to go 😎

Good to know

Things we're looking into adding

  • The developer replies: although it's possible to retrieve it, we figured out that that would slow down the release. Also, we're curious if you'd use it. Is it crucial to you? Then please upvote it here, and we'll prioritize it :)

  • Ratings without reviews: that was a hard one to swallow. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't provide ratings that don't contain written reviews on their API. If you have any clues, please don't hesitate to let us know. Meanwhile, we'll put this in the backlog and keep trying to find a solution.

How to use this report

First, create a new data source. You'll notice a new option on the next page: ⭐️ Reviews.

You know the drill: select it, rename the source, hit "Connect," and you're in. Easy peasy.
