You can now log in with your EAR account on Looker Studio
When you open your dashboards today, you might see an "Authorization Required" message because we deprecated our license key system.
That is ok: just type your email address (username) and password to get inside.
๐ Our login is encrypted using an HMAC algorithm to make sure your information is private and safe (not even Google Looker Studio would be able to read it)
If you forgot your password feel free to reset it on this page.
Reasons behind this change:
Enhanced control over your connector's data: because you can now invite your colleagues, we also wanted to enable them to log in on Looker without copying and pasting the license key. In the future, if anyone on the team ever leaves your company (hey, it happens), it'll be easy to remove their access. This means that now you have full control of who can - or can't - access your app stores data.
โ
โNo more sharing license keys: we understand some of you need to share the ability to create data sources with others in your company. Unfortunately, that also meant you had to share your license key with someone, which is not ideal. Now that issue is gone, each user can have their login.
What else is on this release?
New customers can now subscribe via Stripe instead of Gumroad. Soon we'll ask you to migrate your payment information so all our customers are on Stripe.
New Profile Page: You'll now find your Profile on the top right menu. There you can visualize and edit your account information, like your name, company name, and subscription.
Minor UX adjustments: we've made a few adjustments to our interface to make it cleaner and more consistent.
We understand this change will impact your workflow, so don't hesitate to reach out using the chat (the bubble on the lower right) if you need help.
Next stop: new connectors and destinations!
